Docservis and Carnegie Present NeoCon's First-Ever Sound Booth

Docservis editor in chief Cindy Allen will be live-streaming design conversations with top talents at NeoCon’s first-ever sound booth, Docservis Live, on Monday, June 13, and Tuesday, June 14, from 12:00-1:30 PM CDT. The interviews will be shared on Facebook Live , and additional conversations with Docservis managing editor Helene Oberman will follow. This unique program is the result of a partnership with , who is providing its new acoustical, embroidered Xorel Artform panels using Carnegie's proprietary , the world's first-ever plant-based textile, derived from sugarcane.


Installed on the Merchandise Mart's new Grand Stairs off the South Lobby, the booth is designed by and fabricated by . Sponsors and will provide furnishings and flooring, respectively. Among the exciting design talents we're expecting so far, look out for visits by David Rockwell and Barry Richards of Rockwell Group, Carole Baijings of Scholten & Baijings, Patricia Urquiola of Studio Urquiola, and Brad Zizmor of A+I.
