Join  for the official launch of the , an initiative of the , in collaboration with the AIA New York Committee on the Environment, Kiss + Cathcart Architects, ClosedLoops, and the Foodprint Group with support from The Rockefeller Foundation.


The Zero Waste Design Guidelines aim to serve as both inspiration and resource to help designers, operators and planners collaborate on modifying existing buildings and designing new ones that dramatically reduce our waste. These guidelines embody OneNYC’s goal: to be “the most sustainable big city in the world and a global leader in the fight against climate change.”

The immersive five-week program introduces two undergraduate students to all facets of creating innovative, high-quality products through hands-on training in the field.
