The Circus floor light by Resident’s in-house design team, a new introduction for 2018, is on show at the New Zealand company’s pop-up showroom at 39 Spring Street, New York, through May 31. Also new is Isabella, an armchair by Resident’s co-founder and creative director, Simon James.
Philippe Malouin’s Offset tables, designed in 2017 for Resident, have screw-on oak legs that rotate around an off-center pivot, giving the user the choice of where to position each leg, whether protruding out from the tabletop lip or tucking far underneath.
Also new is Isabella, an armchair by Resident’s co-founder and creative director, Simon James.

“Core,” Malouin’s first architectural project that forms part of an initiative to regenerate a park in Järfälla, Sweden, is a concrete modular bench system that assembles into a small brutalist structure.
